Combining tried and tested-technology with a door durable door design, Hörmann up-and-over garage doors are the first choice for consumers looking for an inexpensive garage door. Offering something for everyone, we offer up-and-over garage doors in a range of different materials, designs, colours, and surface finishes.

Benefit from numerous advantages:

The Series 2000 steel designs are available in Traffic white as standard, as well as 6 low-cost preferred colours and two Decograin foil coated finishes. They also come in solid timber Cedar timber styles in 9 different stain finishes. Our European (N80) range of steel up-and-over garage doors are available in inexpensive Traffic white as standard, in 7 low-cost preferred colours, as well as in about 200 colours based on RAL (except for pearl effect, neon and metallic colours). Solid timber doors are available in Nordic Pine and Hemlock.

For almost every door style Hörmann offers a matching side door. This way, the garage door and side door form a harmonious unit.

Up-and-over garage doors are tested and certified in accordance with the high safety requirements of European standard 13241-1. You can use our safety checklist to find out whether your old garage door complies with the current EU safety standards.

        When the door is opened completely, it is cushioned by the stop and comes to a safe, reliable halt in the track well.

        When closing, the specially-formed lever arm presses the door against the frame tightly and the door pulls itself closed. This leaves no gap between the door and frame.The unique rotary catch lock in Hörmann’s up-and-over doors firmly fixes the corners of the door leaf to the frame, locking it much more securely than a common bolt lock. It is practically impossible to force the door open. You yourself can additionally equip the door with top locking using an optional retrofit kit.

        The bidirectional radio system BiSecur features future-oriented technology for the convenient and secure operation of garage and entrance gate operators, door operators, lights and more.

        This extremely secure BiSecur encryption protocol, developed by Hörmann, with a stable, interference-free range makes sure that no one can copy your radio signal. It was tested and certified by security experts at Bochum university and independent test institutes.

        Convenient inquiry of the door position

        You will never have to go outdoors in all types of weather to check whether your garage door is closed. With a single push of a button, the LED colour on the hand transmitter HS 5 BS shows you whether the door is open or closed. If required, another push of a button* closes the door.It is the most convenient and secure way to control your door.

        * An additional photocell is required for operation without visual contact to the door.
